Success Coaching

A Success Coach is a caring, committed mentor or guide who helps students stay focused, confident, and equipped as they navigate their journey toward college, career, and life success. As a Success Coach for Gene Xcellence, we would like our coaches to commit at least 3-months to help students plan in these areas and provide motivation and encouragement as they pivot through transitional phases through life. 

To become a Success Coach, you must fill out the application and sign our Success Coach agreement. You will be required to undergo a background check before meeting having personal meetings with students. Please apply by June 15th, 2025.

If you are high school student that would like to connect with a Success Coach to help plan their educational and career success with someone that will be able to talk to about your ups and down and have someone to motivate you and advise you in the right direction.  Anyone who is passionate about the success of the next generation of professionals, educators, community leaders, college students, entrepreneurs, or retirees. You don’t need to be perfect, just present, positive, and committed. 

Success Coaches are only given to high school students attending a Greenville County school and young adults between 18-24 years old residing in Greenville County.
